New Exhibit Coming this February

Historical & Special Collection is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibit, Centuries of Japanese Legal Tradition, which will feature manuscripts and scrolls from the Harvard Law School Library’s Japanese collection dating from 1158 to 1860. Manuscript highlights include an annotated copy of Japan’s first modern criminal code and an illustrated primer for women. Visitors will also be able to see scrolls which are some of the oldest items in our collection. Opening in late February in the Caspersen Room, Langdell Hall 4th floor, the exhibit will be on view through 2020.
